Architectural Drafting

Architectural Drafting : This term typically refer to a Colonial Revival Style home,which first appear in 1876 at the us Exposition. After the World War this home style was built all over the Unit State and is still extremely popular today.Colonial Revival Home feature a symmetrical design, often with a single pillar on either side of the front door, and they are usually made from brick or wood. They are extremely simple and mathematically plotted, with window on sides of the house matching those opposite. The inside of a Colonial style home often has a main entranceway with stairs that lead up directly across from the door.

This style of home was first built in the late century by English colonists arriving in America. It is a modest, symmetrical design, with a long peak roof and no more than two storie, usually one. Cape Cod often feature wide clapboard or shingle on the exterior, and wooden shutter over the window.

Their original design was lift from English country home familiar to the settler, who then modified the design to withstand the cold wind and hot sun.
